2016: Whitcomb was on the pitch for 14 of the team’s 17 games, earning a spot in the starting lineup 13 times. The midfielder came off the bench just one time in 2016, serving as a reserve at Fordham in early September. He started his next 11 appearances including nine of the team’s 10 MAAC dates. Whitcomb contributed both offensively and defensively, and controlled play in the middle third of the pitch. He took nine shots during the year, three of which were on goal. He scored the game-winning goal in a 2-0 win at Saint Peter’s, his first shot on goal of the season which came from 20 yards away.
 

2015: Whitcomb was a regular in the lineup, spending most of his time as a starter in the back. He missed just two of the team’s 18 dates, missing only the Marist and Niagara games. He contributed to six of the team’s seven shutouts as well as the team’s stingy 0.98 goals allowed during the 2015 season. He came off the bench three times – at Florida International, Florida Atlantic, and Saint Peter’s. He tallied one assist in 2015 which came as a reserve in a 2-1 setback against Florida Atlantic. Whitcomb was also effective up front with five shots which was tops among the team’s defensive players. 

2014: Whitcomb played in 19 games during the season and started every one of the outings. The only game that he missed came on October 18 at Canisius College. He picked up the game-winning goal in his first collegiate game, scoring the team's only goal in a victory against Army. Wignall scored the unassisted goal in the 29th minute. He did not score again until he picked up three points in a 2-0 victory against Niagara at home, setting up the team' first goal just two minutes into the second half and finishing off the scoring off a penalty kick in the 82nd minute. Whitcomb placed third among his teammates with 19 shots and tied for second on the team with five total points.
