2019: Capasso played three games against MAAC opponents in 2019, starting with the team’s MAAC road game against Iona. He followed up with a home game versus Siena and an away match with Niagara. He earned a start in the regular-season finale against the Purple Eagles. The midfielder remained active on both sides of the pitch including a couple of offensive runs that resulted in shots against Siena and Niagara.

2018: Austin Capasso played in eight games as a sophomore with seven of those appearances coming against MAAC opponents. He started the season with playing time against College of Charlestwon before moving into conference play. He came off the bench for minutes against Niagara, Monmouth, Canisius, Quinnipiac, Marist, Manhattan, and the MAAC Tournament match against Rider. He took three shots as a midfielder..

2017: Capasso collected a pair of appearances as a sophomore beginning with a nod against Portland on August 27. He gained entry one more time during the year with minutes against Monmouth on October 25. He tallied his first career point against the Hawks, setting up one of the team’s two goals in a 2-1 victory.

Before Fairfield: Austin Capasso earned All-Section honors as a member of Eastchester High School and brings experience as a midfielder to the Fairfield University men's soccer program. He was one of the team's top scorers with 11 goals and nine assists as a senior, one year removed from netting seven goals in his junior season. In 2014, Eastchester reached the state semifinals before falling to Byram Hills.
