Before Fairfield: Audun Engen Vik spent his first two seasons as a collegiate on the University of Evansville campus where he where he started 19 matches for the Aces. He opened his career with . In 2024, Vik started 15 of his 21 appearances, scoring a goal and assisting on two other scores. He posted points in back-to-back games with an assist against Louisville before putting up a goal in the Northern Illinois match. His final point came as an assist in 2-1 win over Western Michigan. As a freshman, Vik posted two goals on six shots in addition to registering a pair of assists for six points in 16 matches. Before coming to the United States, Vik was part of Rosenborg’s U18 division championship team which went on to make the Norway Cup Final. He also appeared in Norway’s U15 through U17 friendlies and Euro U17 qualifiers, scoring a pair of goals.
