Biography

2025 Season: Alex Vaz became a regular in the starting lineup right from the start, placing up the first 11 in the season opener at Army West Point. He went on to start in each of the team’s first 12 matches which helped the freshman tally five goals for 10 points. He was one of three Stags to reach double figures in the scoring column. Vaz found the back of the net in each of his first two matches including his collegiate debut at Army. He also added a goal in a 1-1 draw with Columbia before netting two goals in Fairfield’s win over nationally-ranked Marist. He put nine of his 23 shots on goal, including two against Army West Point, Siena, and Marist. His goal against the Red Foxes proved to be the deciding tally.
