Biography
2018: Played and started in all 15 games for the Stags’ defensive unit. Picked up nine ground balls and caused eight turnovers.
2017: Appeared in 13 games for the Fairfield defense, including starts in the season-ending wins over #15 Towson and Delaware…Picked up four ground balls with two caused turnovers.
2016: Made 15 appearances…Collected seven ground balls, including two in the Feb. 25 season opener against Richmond…Posted a pair of caused turnovers…Filled in at the faceoff ‘X’ in the first two games of the spring, winning 5-of-16 draws.
2015: Appeared in four contests…Picked up a ground ball against Holy Cross on Feb. 14…Also took the field in wins over Providence on Feb. 18, Manhattan on Feb. 21 and Massachusetts-Lowell on March 17.
High School: Earned four varsity letters at Pittsford Sutherland … Helped the Panthers to a pair of section championships … Served as team captain during junior and senior seasons … Also lettered in hockey … Member of the National Honor Society.
Personal: Son of Jeff and Mary Ann Panara … Father played soccer for four years at Hamilton College … Has two siblings … Major is mechanical engineering.
