2017: Made 12 appearances, including one start, for the Fairfield defense…Totaled seven ground balls and five caused turnovers…Had a season-best four ground balls in the 8-7 win at UMass Lowell.

2016: Appeared in all 17 games, including 16 starts…Part of a defense that ranked third in the CAA and 24th nationally with 9.35 goals per game allowed…Scooped up 35 ground balls with 14 caused turnovers…Scored his first career goal in the win at Colgate on March 19…Had four ground balls and three caused turnovers in the CAA Championship Game.

2015: Appeared in all 15 games with 11 starts as a defenseman…Part of a defensive unit that ranked third in the nation with 7.47 goals per game allowed…Picked up 31 ground balls with a team-leading 16 caused turnovers…Had a career-high nine ground balls in the March 21 win over Villanova…Picked up four ground balls in the win over Hofstra on April 24…Caused a career-best three turnovers in the win over Manhattan on Feb. 21.

2014: ECAC All-Academic Team … Appeared in one game, checking into the Manhattan contest.

High School: Earned four varsity letters at Gonzaga, leading the Eagles to a 78-8 mark and finished with 273 ground balls, 15 goals and 20 assists ... As a senior captain, recorded 88 ground balls to earn US Lacrosse All-America honors, Washington Post  First Team All-Met and First Team All-WCAC accolades ... Helped lead the Eagles to four WCAC Championships, and received All-WCAC accolades of some level in each of those seasons ...  National Honor Society.
 
Personal: Son of Ellen and Jim Borda and has two younger siblings...Mother ran track at James Madison University...Brother Michael plays lacrosse at Michigan.
