2016: MAAC All-Academic Team…A four-time MAAC Libero of the Week…Her 472 digs ranked ninth in single-season history…4.63 digs per set slot fourth in the single-season record book and third in the MAAC this fall…Also posted 85 assists, 21 service aces and one kill…Reached double-digit digs in 25 matches, including a season-high 25 in the MAAC Championship Semifinal win over Siena on Nov. 19…Topped 20 digs in nine matches…Neared a pair of double-doubles with a career-best eight assists in the wins over Niagara on Oct. 1 and at Manhattan on Oct. 23…Landed two service aces on six occasions.

2015: MAAC and ECAC Libero of the Week on Oct. 13…MAAC Academic Honor Roll...Split time between libero and defensive specialist, recording a team-best 3.93 digs per set…Ranked seventh overall in the MAAC and second among freshmen in digs per frame…Had 10 or more digs in 18 matches, including seven 20-dig showings…Picked up 27 and 25 digs, respectively, in a weekend sweep at Siena and Marist…Averaged 3.67 digs per set in the MAAC Championship…Added 62 assists, 21 service aces and two kills.

High School: Bechtold comes to Fairfield from Ursuline High School in Cincinatti, Ohio.  Bechtold was named to the Second-team for the Ohio Volleyball Coaches’ All-State team.  Bechtold tallied over 200 kills and 200 digs in 80 sets as a senior.

Personal: Daughter of Theresa and Tom Bechtold...Has an older brother, Trevor.
