Biography
2021: CAA Commissioner’s Honor Roll…Played five games on defense in an injury-shortened season…Picked up 20 ground balls, including seven on March 14 at UMass and five in the home meeting with Delaware...Had four ground balls and four caused turnovers in the home win over Lafayette.
2020: Co-captain…Played all seven games, six at LSM and one as a starter on close defense…Scooped up 18 ground balls, including a season-high four to go along with four caused turnovers in the season-opening win over Stony Brook…Won 10 faceoffs, including a 5-8 performance in the win over LIU.
2019: CAA Commissioner’s Academic Honor Roll…Played in 13 games, primarily as an LSM, with three starts on defense…Picked up 28 ground balls with 16 caused turnovers…Had four ground balls against Utah and UMass...Racked up three caused turnovers against Sacred Heart and Towson.
2018: Played in nine games for the Stags as an LSM. Picked up 20 ground balls and caused five turnovers.
Jake Tymon was a First Team All-State and First Team All-FCIAC selection as a senior at Fairfield Ludlowe. He started his collegiate career at Mercyhurst, appearing on defense in six games. The Lakers went 12-3 in a campaign that wrapped up in the G-MAC Championship Game.
Personal: Son of Mark and Darcie Tymon. Has two younger siblings, Alexa and Ryan.
