2022: Started all 14 games as the Stags’ primary faceoff man…Went 181-341 (.531) with 106 ground balls…Was .500 or better at the X in 10 of 14 outings…Scored seven goals with two assists…Picked up 10 or more ground balls in five games…Graduated as the Stags’ all-time leader with 295 ground balls…504 career faceoff wins good for second all-time…106 ground balls in 2022 were second-most in Fairfield single-season history…Seven goals in 2022 and 16 career goals are most by a FOGO in program history.
2021: CAA Commissioner’s Honor Roll…Appeared in nine games at the X…Went 102-188 (.543) with 53 ground balls…Was over .500 in six games, highlighted by a 17-24 day against Sacred Heart and a 16-23, 12 ground ball showing against Lafayette…Scored goals against Delaware and Sacred Heart and dished out an assist at Providence.
2020: Fairfield’s primary faceoff man, starting all seven games on the dot…Went 107-195 for a .549 win percentage to rank third in the CAA…Collected a team-high 58 ground balls, ranking second in the CAA and 12th nationally with 8.29 ground balls per game…Scored goals against Stony Brook and Georgetown…Dished an assist in the win over LIU and two helpers in the season-ending victory at Siena…Set a program record with 24 faceoff wins (24-30) at Siena and tied his own program mark with 15 ground balls…Finished the campaign with three straight games over .500 on the draw.
2019: CAA Commissioner’s Academic Honor Roll…Appeared in 12 games as the primary faceoff man…Went 114-for-214 (.533) at the X…Tied a program record with a 21-for-26 day, including a new program mark of 15 ground balls in the Feb. 23 win at Sacred Heart…Scored three goals, a new single-season record for a Fairfield faceoff man, with markers against Rutgers, Georgetown and Utah…Totaled 74 ground balls, which ranks eighth in a single-season in program history, with four caused turnovers.
2018: Played in 12 games for the Stags, primarily in the defensive midfield. Scored one goal apiece at #13/15 Rutgers and at Towson.
A US Lacrosse All-American in 2017, Frankie Labetti was a force at the faceoff dot and on offense for Moorestown (N.J.) High School. Labetti racked up 193 points in his career, scoring 137 goals with 56 assists in four seasons. He was over 70 percent on the draw in both his junior and senior campaigns, netting 77 points in 2016 and 81 points in 2017 en route to All-State, All-South Jersey and All-Skyland Conference laurels in both seasons. Labetti was the South Jersey Player of the Year and Skyland Conference Player of the Year as a senior captain at Moorestown this past spring, guiding the club to a Group 3 State Championship, a No. 1 ranking among New Jersey public schools and the No. 3 ranking in all of New Jersey.
Personal: Son of Anthony and Christina Labetti...Has three siblings: Anthony, Arianna and Alivia...Brother Anthony played lacrosse at Wagner College.
