Fairfield University Athletics

General:  Connor Maniatty is in his final season as a member of the Stags defense. He has played in 25 games over the course of his career and enters the campaign with seven ground balls and two caused turnovers, as well as a goal.
 
Off the Field: Maniatty is a Management major.  He has been a member of the Department of Athletics 3.0 Club in each of the past four semesters, beginning sophomore year.

2014: Appeared in 11 games … Had two ground balls in ECAC Championship semifinal win over Michigan … Had a ground ball and a caused turnover in win at Quinnipiac … Had a ground ball and a caused turnover at Air Force … Had two ground balls in win over Holy Cross.

2013: Maniatty appeared in five games during his junior season, all as a reserve.  He collected three ground balls, with two coming in the Stags win over Hobart during the regular season.
 
2012: Maniatty played in a dozen games during his sophomore campaign, finishing with four ground balls, two caused turnovers and a goal.  His first collegiate stats, a ground ball and a caused turnover, came on the road in the win at ECAC foe Bellarmine.  That started a three-game stretch in which he picked up all four of his ground balls.  That streak culminated at Air Force where Maniatty had two ground balls and scored his first collegiate goal. His final caused turnover of the year came at home in a loss to Ohio State.
 
2011: Maniatty appeared in eight games, as a reserve, during his rookie season. He made his collegiate debut in the Stags ECAC win over Air Force.
 
High School: Maniatty earned four varsity letters at Avon High School, where he scored 120 career goals and handed out 75 assists.  As a senior captain he touched net 45 times, with 32 assists, as he earned Second Team All-State.  A two-time All-Conference selection on the field, Maniatty was a three-time conference Scholar-Athlete honoree.  He also lettered in soccer.
 
Personal: Son of Sarah and Peter Maniatty.  He has two siblings, a brother, Taylor, and a sister, Samantha.
