The 2018 season was the first for Justin Schneidman on the Fairfield Men’s Lacrosse coaching staff. Schneidman most recently served as the defensive coordinator at Manhattanville College.
In two seasons at Manhattanville, Schneidman helped mentor six Valiants to All-MAAC Freedom honors. He previously coached at the scholastic level at Arlington (N.Y.) High School, Byram Hills (N.Y.) and Greenwich (Conn.), coaching seven U.S. Lacrosse All-Americans and compiling an overall record of 53-23.
As a student-athlete, Schneidman was a two-time First Team All-America defenseman at SUNY Cortland and a three-time All-SUNYAC honoree. He was a starter on the Red Dragons’ 2009 NCAA Division III National Championship squad and three SUNYAC Championship teams. He was selected to represent SUNY Cortland in the 2011 USILA Division III North/South Senior All-Star Game.
