Fairfield University Athletics

2018: Played in 13 games, starting six. Scored four goals and had two assists for six points on the year. Had a season-high two goals against Stony Brook and added a goal each in the meeting with NJIT and Villanova.

2017: Made 12 appearances, including five starts…Dished out three assists with seven ground balls…Handed out assists against Richmond, #2 Penn State and in the season-ending CAA win over Delaware.

2016: Appeared in all 17 games with 14 starts in his first season with the Stags…Totaled 25 points with 11 goals and 14 assists…Logged a point in each of the last 14 games of the season…Collected 35 ground balls…Posted three points with a goal and two assists against Yale on March 12…Registered a career-high four points with a goal and three assists in the March 19 win at Colgate…Posted his first career multi-goal game with two markers as well as an assist at Villanova on March 26…Scored a goal in each of the Stags’ CAA postseason games.

Before Fairfield: Spent his freshman campaign at Villanova, where he totaled four goals and five assists...As a student-athlete at Georgetown Prep, he racked up 166 career points, bolstered by 44 goals and 38 assists as a senior....Scored one of Villanova’s four goals in the Stags’ 11-4 win over the Wildcats on March 21, 2015 at Rafferty Stadium.

Personal: Son of Charles and Marybeth Horning...Has five siblings, Marykate, John, Kelly, Larry and Owen...Father played lacrosse at Mount St. Mary's....Sister Kelly is a member of the Fairfield Women's Lacrosse team.
