Biography
2021: Played three games in an injury-mired season…Scored a man-up goal in the season finale at Hofstra and registered assists in the home games against Drexel and UMass.
2020: Started all seven games on attack…Scored seven goals with a team-high 20 assists…Ranked second in the CAA and ninth in the nation with 2.86 assists per game…Sixth in the CAA in points per game (3.86)…Had two or more points in every game…Notched a career-high seven points with a goal and six assists in the win over Merrimack…Had five points apiece in the wins over Stony Brook (1g, 4a) and Siena (3g, 2a).
2019: CAA Commissioner’s Academic Honor Roll…Played in 13 games with nine starts…Scored seven goals and handed out 12 assists for 19 total points…Netted a hat trick in the Feb. 23 win at Sacred Heart…Had a goal and four assists in the March 5 win over Siena…Buried the goal that stood as the game-winner on March 19 at NJIT.
A two-time U.S. Lacrosse All-American out of Pleasantville High School, Brian Reda (Pleasantville, N.Y.) had a historic high school career on attack. He ranks first in New York Section 1 history with 278 career goals, and his 398 career points are second all-time in Section 1. Reda is also Pleasantville's all-time leader in points, goals and assists (120). He capped his career as The Journal News co-Player of the Year in 2018 alongside his teammate and classmate Declan McDermott (Georgetown). Reda was also a four-year honor roll student.
Reda's older sister Meghan Reda '15 was a two-time First Team All-MAAC defender for Fairfield Women's Lacrosse and a co-captain of the Stags' 2015 MAAC Championship team.
