Biography
2020: Co-captain…Started all seven games on close defense…Totaled 14 ground balls and five caused turnovers…Picked up three ground balls apiece in the wins over Merrimack and LIU.
2019: CAA Commissioner’s Academic Honor Roll…Played in all 14 games with nine starts on defense…Collected 32 ground balls with 13 caused turnovers…Also scored a goal and handed out an assist in the March 5 win over Siena.
2018: Played in six games on the season, picking up two ground balls.
2017: Made two appearances in his first season with the Stags…Made his collegiate debut at #2 Penn State…Collected the first ground ball of his career in the win over NJIT.
High School: A two-time US Lacrosse All-America performer to go along with All-Midwest, All-State and All-Catholic nods…Helped lead Brother Rice to three consecutive state championships…The Warriors were also recognized by Lacrosse Magazine as the No. 2 team in the Midwest at the close of the 2016 season, also receiving consideration for the national top 25…An Honors student at Brother Rice.
Personal: Son of Chris and Maureen Cosgrove...Father was a swimmer at John Carroll...Has two brothers, Patrick and Michael.
