2021-22: Redshirt season due to injury.

2020-21: Tshiefu Ngalakulondi played in 22 of the team’s 27 games, gaining starts in back-to-back contests at Hartford and versus Iona (December 11). Despite coming off the bench in his other 20 outings, Ngalakulondi managed to play more than 10 minutes in 10 games. He opened his career with a 24-minute stint at Providence, securing seven points with a team-leading eight rebounds. He would surpass that rebound total two games later with a season-high nine caroms at Stony Brook. The forward would secure six or more rebounds in each of his first five games played but would equal that mark just one more time during the remainder of the season (six vs. Fairleigh Dickinson). His season high for scoring came in at seven points, a total he reached three of his first four games played and six times during the course of the season. For the campaign, Ngalakulondi averaged nearly 12 minutes per game which led him to his 2.6 scoring and 3.9 rebounding averages.

2019-20: Ngalakulondi did not play during the 2019-20 season, completing his one-year residency requirement following his transfer from St. Bonaventure.

Before Fairfield: Ngalakulondi came to Fairfield University after playing two seasons at St. Bonaventure University, appearing in 37 games over his stay with the Bonnies. Last season, the forward averaged 3.6 points and 3.7 rebounds as he split time as a starter (11 games) and as a reserve (eight games).  He scored in double figures twice as a sophomore which resulted in a pair of double-doubles. His first game was a 14-point, 13-rebound effort at Niagara, both of which turned out to be his season highs. Three appearances later, Ngalakulondi registered 11 points and 12 rebounds against the University of Akron. Defensively, Ngalakulondi secured a steal in nine of his first 11 games of the campaign, and posted two games with three or more blocks (3 vs. Georgia State and 4 vs. Delaware State). As a freshman, the forward played in 18 games and averaged 2.3 points and 1.3 rebounds. He shot 61 percent from the floor (17 of 28) including 5 of 11 from behind the three-point line. He netted career-high 21 points in a win over Maryland Eastern Shore, netting eight of 11 shots from the floor. He attended Proctor Academy before enrolling at Saint Bonaventure, earning two Class AA All-New England honors. He averaged 16 points and eight rebounds per game a senior, 17 points and 11 rebounds as a junior, 13.5 points and eight rebounds as a sophomore and finished his career with more than 1.000 career points.
