Biography

2009-10
Jordan emerged as one of the team’s starting guards as a sophomore, gaining the nod in 19 of the first 20 games. He came off the bench against Maryland during that opening 20-game run. He went down with an ankle sprain during the January 24 game at Iona, causing him to miss the next four games. He returned for the game at Rider, where he came off the bench to score three points. Jordan came off the bench for the next eight games before returning to a starting role in the season finale against Creighton. Jordan was nearly flawless with the ball down the stretch, registering just two turnovers in his final 13 appearances which included 228 minutes of work. He finished the season with 41 assists  against 26 turnovers, and added 22 steals in his 30 games. Jordan averaged nine points per game during the CollegeInsider.com tournament, netting 10 points at George Mason and eight points at Creighton. His 10-point performance against George Mason was his first double-digit performance since netting 10 markers against Sacred Hear on December 13. Jordan registered four of his five double-digit scoring performances over a seven-game stretch from November 23 to December 13. The guard tallied a season-high 12 points at Hofstra, one game after netting 10 markers at Howard for his only back-to-back double-figure scoring performances. Jordan was one of the team’s better three-point shooters with 24 long-range baskets. He had two or more three pointers in seven of the 15 games in which he made a shot from behind the arc.

2008-09:
Jordan averaged 4.6 points and 1.7 rebounds per game as a sophomore. He established himself as one of the team's starting five in late January, gaining his first career start against Rider. In the next game, he came off the bench at Manhattan which was his last game as a reserve. Jordan finished the year with 10 consecutive starts, nine of which covered 30 or more minutes of playing time. He played 40 minutes in back-to-back games - the regular-season finale at Rider and the MAAC quarterfinal match up with Manhattan. In the Rider start, Jordan netted a career-high 18 points by netting eight of 14 field goal attempts (57 percent). He just missed that career high with a 15-point performance during the MAAC semifinals, which included three three-point field goals. The guard shot 44 percent from the floor during the season, and netted 40 percent of his three-point attempts (23 of 58). He handled the ball well during hit sophomore season with 27 assists and 24 steals against 28 turnovers. He hit the game-winning three-point shot against Fordham, giving the Stags a three-point lead with 1.5 seconds remaining.

2007-08
Jordan came off the bench in all 24 of his appearances in 2007-08, beginning with his Fairfield debut against Wake Forest. The guard scored seven points during the campaign, all of which came from the floor. His first career field goal was a three-point basket against Siena, which gave him a personal best three points. He also scored a field goal against Iona and Rider, and shot 50 percent from the floor in all three games in which he scored (1 of 2). Jordan tallied a rebound in six different games for a total of six caroms, four of which came on the offensive glass. Jordan played a career-high 13 minutes at Siena and nearly tied that mark with 11 minutes at Iona 10 days later. All of his points and assists came against conference opponents. 

Before Fairfield
A McDonald’s All-America nominee, Jordan brought a great deal of success to the Fairfield University campus. The guard was a key member of the Winder-Barrow High School team. He earned All-Region first team honors as a senior, one year after securing All-Region second team accolades as a junior. In his final season at Winder-Barrow, Jordan was named the Most Valuable Player at the Sweet South Classic and the Tabo Thanksgiving Tournament. In his senior season, Winder-Barrow advanced to the second round of the state tournament before being eliminated by the number two team in the State. Jordan averaged 19.7 points, 5.6 assists, and 4.0 assists per game as a senior. As a junior, the guard led Regional AAA in assists by averaging 7.4 per game.
