2023 Season: Kate Fenner continued to emerge as one of the team’s best options in the middle of the pitch, appearing in a personal best 15 games last season. Her play in the midfield as well as in the defensive third established her as one of the top options as a reserve and also helped her delve into the starting lineup during the season.

2022 Season: Kate Fenner was consistently in the lineup during the 2022 campaign, serving her teammates mostly as a defender. She was part of a defensive unit that ranked among the best in the Northeast Conference, yielding less than two goals per game (1.83) and posting a pair of shutouts. Her ability to extend defensively made her a valuable student-athlete inside the circle last year and throughout her career. She was successful in the classroom as illustrated by her placement on the NFHCA National Academic Squad and the Northeast Conference Fall Academic Honor Roll.

2021 Season: Fenner spent time on the pitch over five games in 2021, gaining minutes against Albany, Columbia, Drexel, Saint Francis, and Merrimack. Her play in the middle of the field during those contests provided flexibility to the coaching staff on both sides of the pitch. She was named to the NFHCA National Academic Squad following the 2021 season.

2020-21 Season: Fenner picked up her first minutes of the season in the regular season finale against Sacred Heart. The midfielder gained more than 30 minutes of work in the game but did not record any statistics over the afternoon.

Before Fairfield: Fenner came to Fairfield University after graduating from Warren Hills High School where she was a member of the field hockey program. Fenner enjoyed success on the pitch, scoring four goals and seven assists in 2019. She scored a point in eight matches including a goal and an assist in a win over North Hunterdon. She also had a multi-point game with a pair of assists in a win over Ridge. She capped her season with a spot on the Lehigh Valley Live All-Area second team.
