Fairfield University Athletics

General: Emmy Horton is in her first season with the Stags and will be a member of the attack.
 
Off the Field: Horton will major in Business at Fairfield.
 
High School: Horton earned four varsity letters at Duxbury High School, leading the Dragons to 61 victories during her career.  She served as team captain as a senior, and tallied 55 points, with 27 caused turnovers after returning from an ankle injury. Horton was part of four Patriot League Championship Teams and earned both Patriot League All-Star and MIAA All-State Team accolades during her scholastic career.  She earned three varsity letters in field hockey, helping the team to a South Section Title in 2011. Horton was inducted into the National Honor Society at Duxbury.
 
Personal: Emily Jane Horton is the daughter of Sue and Wes Horton.  She has two older sisters, Jess and Sarah, and a younger brother, Wesley.
