Before Fairfield:   Chrisitan Cevis joined the Fairfield University basketball program after successful academic and athletic careers at West Morris Central High School. He averaged 14.2 points and 8.8 assists per game through his first three seasons at West Morris Central High School. Last season, the guard helped the team win 26 games by scoring in double figures 21 times including six 20-point plus games. He posted a triple-double in a win against Morristown Beard with 17 points, 10 rebounds and 14 assists. Cevis netted a season-best 28 points in a victory against Randolph later in the season. He was selected to the NJ.com All Group 3 first team and was picked as the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) player of the year by NJ.com. Cevis was also tabbed the Morris County Boys Basketball Coaches Association Player of the Year and was chosen as the team's most valuable player four years running. He has dished off more than 400 assists over the last two seasons including 254 as a junior.
