2020-21: Caleb Green made an impact in his inaugural season with the Stags after transferring from the College of the Holy Cross. The guard ended the 2020-21 campaign as the team leader with 76 assists in his 27 starts. He was the team leader in minutes played with 33.8 per game, a number which placed seventh in the MAAC. He reached double figures in 12 games, highlighted by his season-best 21 points at Manhattan on March 4. Green finished the season with a strong run, reaching double figures in five of the last six games including three of the four MAAC Tournament games. In the MAAC championship, Green averaged 10.3 points 3.7 assists per game. Green capped his 2020-21 season with a berth to the Division I-AAA Athletics Director Scholar-Athlete Team.
2019-20
Green did not play during the 2019-20 season, completing his one-year residency requirement following his transfer from Holy Cross.
Before Fairfield
Green comes to Fairfield University after spending the last two seasons at the College of the Holy Cross. He started all 64 of his appearances including 33 during the 2018-19 campaign. As a sophomore, Green averaged 10.8 points per game, nearly two points better than his 8.9 scoring average as a rookie. He collected 196 assists during his stay with Holy Cross, averaging 3.1 per game. Before joining the collegiate ranks, Green was a three-time captain at Proctor Academy where he earned Class AA All-New England second team honors from the New England Preparatory School Athletic Council as a sophomore and as a senior. He averaged 16.0 points and seven assists as a junior.
