Biography

2023-24: MAAC Sixth Player of the Year…All-MAAC Third Team…Two-time MAAC Player of the Week (Jan. 8, March 10)…Appeared in 31 games with seven starts, averaging 25.9 minutes per game…Averaged 13.9 points per game…Knocked down 77 three-pointers on .467 shooting from distance…Accounted for the fourth 40-point game in program history, scoring an even 40 on 13-18 shooting (8-12 from three-point range) in the Jan. 5 win at Siena…Also had a 37-point game (only the 11th in Fairfield history) in the Senior Night win over Canisius…Scored 22 points in back-to-back games to open the season at Boston College and Rhode Island…Had 20 and 25, respectively, in the Stags’ two wins over Mount Saint Mary’s.

2022-23: Played in four games prior to a season-ending injury…Averaged 7.3 points per contest, scoring a season-best 10 points at New Hampshire…Shot 6-for-13 (.462) from three-point range…Also grabbed five rebounds with an assist, a block and a steal in 15.6 minutes per outing.

Before Fairfield: A 6-4 guard, Brycen Goodine appeared in 21 games at Providence this past season, including the Friars' NCAA Tournament Second Round win against Richmond and Sweet 16 contest against eventual National Champion Kansas. He totaled 40 points and 13 rebounds while playing just under six minutes per outing. The prior campaign, Goodine netted 26 points with 17 boards in 16 games coming off the bench for Head Coach Ed Cooley, including four points in the Friar's season-opening win over the Stags.
 
The New Bedford, Mass. native began his collegiate career in the ACC at Syracuse, playing in 23 games for the Orange in 2019-20. He played scholastically at St. Andrew's School in Barrington, R.I., where he was named the 2019 NEPSAC Class AA Player of the Year and 2018 Gatorade Player of the Year for Rhode Island. Goodine was a top-100 player in his high school class per ESPN.com, Rivals.com and 247Sports.com.
