Biography
2024-25: Braden Sparks played in 29 games with 26 starts in his first season as a Stag, averaging 24.9 minutes per contest. Sparks averaged 9.5 points per game bolstered by 47 made three-pointers. He reached double figures in 15 games, including 13 times in 21 outings against MAAC opponents. Sparks scored a career-high 20 points at Siena on March 6 and netted 18 in the February home game against Sacred Heart. He also hauled in 2.7 rebounds per contest, grabbing eight to go along with 17 points at Georgetown on Nov. 9.
Before Fairfield: Sparks helped lead Indian Hills Community College to a 29-6 record, culminating in a trip to the NJCAA National Semifinals in 2023-24. He netted a career-best 27 points in the Region XI Championship Game, finishing the campaign with 11.3 points, 3.5 rebounds and 3.7 assists per contest. Sparks knocked down 53 three-pointers at a .411 clip for the Warriors. As a freshman, Sparks appeared in 21 games at Mercer. He shot 12-for-28 (.429) from three-point range en route to 55 points for the Bears. Sparked averaged 12.7 minutes per contest at Mercer.

Originally from Villa Rica, Ga., Sparks won a state championship and two region championships as a standout at McEachern High School.
