2025 Season: Rory Saxon secured minutes in three games during the 2025 season, gaining entry to the Merrimack, Stonehill, and New Haven contests. Her longest stint was a 17-minutes effort against New Haven which resulted in her only shot taken in the campaign. She also garnered eight minutes in her collegiate debut at Merrimack as well as four minutes versus Stonehill.

Before Fairfield: Saxon comes off a stellar season at Gwynedd Mercy Academy where she led the team in scoring as a senior and was a Max Field Hockey Top 100 selection. She posted team highs with 33 goals and 24 assists in her final campaign, helping her gain All-State honors for the second straight season from the Pennsylvania Field Hockey Coaches Association (PFHCA). She was also a first team pick by the Athletic Association of Catholic Academies (AACA). Saxon was placed on the High School All-Regional and All-American Watchlist by the NFHCA. She became only the third student-athlete in Gwynedd Mercy Academy history to score 100 goals in a career. She played within the USA Field Hockey system and was a member of the WC Eagles club program. Saxon becomes the fourth member of the Saxon family to join the Fairfield University field hockey program. Cousins Gabby ’22, Hannah ’23, Samantha ’25 also completed their collegiate field hockey careers with the Stags.
