Biography

2025 Season: Noor Hellemans earned a berth to the 2025 All-NEC first team as a defender. She started all 21 of her appearances this season, missing only the conference opener against Wagner. She enjoyed her best offensive campaign in 2025, scoring two goals and adding seven assists for 11 points. Her seven assists ranked second on the team, while her two goals were the first of her collegiate career. She tallied five of her seven assists over the final seven games of the season including setting up a goal in the team’s NCAA win against Boston University. Hellemans posted a multi-point game against Lehigh, tallying a goal and an assist in the team’s 5-0 win.

2024 Season: Hellemans missed a month during the season but was still able to make contributions while she was on the pitch. The sophomore started 13 of her 15 appearances, posting four points during those outings. She picked up an assist in the team’s victory against Holy Cross on September 6 before getting back in the scoring column with a pair of assists in the win over Stonehill. She capped her season scoring with an assist on the team’s lone goal against Delaware during the NCAA Championship. She was also an impact player defensively highlighted by her two defensive saves – Hofstra and Delaware during the regular season. She gained recognition as a member of the NEC Commissioner’s Fall Honor Roll.

2023 Season: Helleman quickly established herself in the collegiate game despite being a first-year player. She started her first six appearances with the Stags beginning with the game against the University of Iowa. She went on to appear in 16 games during the season. Helleman tallied three assists in 2023 out of the midfield/defensive slot, collecting all three in a win against Rider on October 20. She was also active up front with shots taken including a pair against Merrimack and Holy Cross.

Why Fairifeld? "I chose Fairfield because simply put, it just felt right. I liked how close all the athletics facilities were located to one another. It also was a place that truly felt like a home away from home."

Personal: Her parents are Jolanda and Jeroen. Her major is biomedical engineering.
