2019 Season: Ott served as one of the team’s reserves in 2019, coming off the bench for all 11 of her appearances. She played in the team’s first two games at UMass Lowell and at Boston College. She secured time in five of the team’s September games and ended her season with a nod in the UConn game during the NCAA Championship. Ott stabilized the defensive third whenever she entered the game, giving the coaching staff more options inside the team’s own circle. Ott took one shot during the season, making an attempt against Boston College.

Before Fairfield: Montana Ott was team captain and team MVP for an historic season at Bangor Area (Pa.) High School in 2018. She guided the defense for the Slaters as the club won the Colonial League and its first-ever District XI Championship en route to a program-record 20 victories. Ott was a two-time All-Colonial League First Team honoree and added All-Area First Team recognition in 2018. She was also a member of NJ Starz for a pair of Indoor National Championship campaigns. A Colonial League Academic All-Star and First Honors student, Ott plans to major in Biology.
