Biography

2010:  Captained the 2010 team, started all 19 games for the Stags after last season with 13 starts, finishing with one assist. Onofrio moved into the defensive end and proved to be one of the Stags most consistent defenders and a leader of the 2010 defensive unit.  Onofrio also found herself on the offensive end with 11 shot attempts on the year, doubling her five attempts last season.

2009: Onofrio broke through offensively in 2009, scoring a pair of goals in her 15 appearances. She collected 13 starts after making two starts over her first two seasons with the Stags. The midfielder scored her first career points with a pair of goals, finding the back of the net against Columbia University on her only shot of the game. Onofrio finished the campaign with five shots on goal. She added a game-winning goal in the Stags’ 1-0 win over the University of Vermont in the season finale. Onofrio came off the bench in two games, serving as a reserve against America East foes Boston University and the University of New Hampshire.   

2008
: After playing in six games as a freshman, Onofrio was able to increase her playing time as a sophomore. The defender appeared in 17 games, one of 10 players to reach that number in 2008. Onofrio started against Virginia Commonwealth in the season opener, and added another start at Siena. She played an important role with the Stags' defense, and was on the field for all three Fairfield shutouts. She took one shot on goal a year ago, making the attempt at Quinnipiac. 

2007
: Onofrio gained her first start against William & Mary, the second game of the season. She received minutes in the season opener against Virginia Commonwealth, and added four more reserve appearances later in the season - Lehigh, Quinnipiac, New Hampshire, and Rider. She picked up a defensive save in the William & Mary game. She finished the season by playing in three of the team's final four games.
