2024 Season: Madison Milhous capped her senior season with a spot on the All-NEC second team after anchoring the Stags defense in 17 appearances. She ranked as one of the team’s top defensive players but also contributed up front with two goals and two assists. The defender posted a goal in the team’s win over Mercyhurst as well as a goal in the Merrimack game. She garnered an assist in the Merrimack outing as well as the Villanova date to complete her scoring. Milhous was on the pitch for all five of Fairfield’s shutouts. She was selected to the NEC Fall Academic Honor Roll following the 2024 season.

2023 Season: Milhous received recognition for her play in 2023 by earning a spot on the All-NEC first team and a berth to the NFHCA All-Region second team accolades. She started all 18 of her appearances, and was on the pitch for all five of Fairfield’s shutouts. The defender contributed on both sides of the pitch, picking up a defensive save against Columbia as well as an assist in the team’s win over Sacred Heart. She also contributed one shot which she attempted in the regular-season finale against Holy Cross.

2022 Season: An All-NEC second team selection in 2022, Milhous followed up her successful rookie campaign with another solid effort on the defensive side of the pitch. Her ability to play both in the middle and final thirds of the pitch made her a valuable student-athlete for the coaching staff. With her contributions, the Stags were able to hold the opposition to 1.83 goals per game and post a pair of shutouts (Holy Cross and Stonehill) during the regular-season slate. She earned a berth to the NFHCA National Academic Squad as well as the Northeast Conference Fall Academic Honor Roll.

2021 Season: Milhous became a regular in the lineup, spending time both as a starter and as a reserve. She was in the starting lineup for her first collegiate appearances, getting the nod against Saint Joseph’s in August. Milhous was also in the starting lineup at Quinnipiac, against LIU, and at Delaware for the opening round of the NCAA Tournament. She was one of a handful of freshmen to play in more than 10 games during the season. Milhous was listed on the 2021 NFHCA National Academic Squad.

Before Fairfield: Milhous joined the Fairfield University field hockey team after a successful career at Radnor High School. She served as a midfielder who contributed on both sides of the pitch. She finished her senior season by scoring four goals and adding six assists. For her efforts, Milhous was recognized with berths to the All-Central League second team in addition to the All-Main Line Team.
