Fairfield University Athletics

2012: Stefanides played in all 20 games in her freshman campaign as a top offensive reserve. Her first appearance was in the season opener against Hofstra University. Stefanides posted ten points with four goals and two assists, her first collegiate goal was against Siena College on Oct. 3.  She scored two goals each against Siena and Georgetown.  As a rookie, Stefanides earned a spot on the 2012 Gladiator by SGI/NFHCA Division I National Academic Team.

Before Fairfield: Stefanides had an incredible career at Wyoming Seminary Prep School.  She was a four year varsity starter and helped her team to three PIAA State Championships in 2008, 2010, 2011. Each season, Stefanides ranked in the top-ten for scoring in her conference and garnered a number of All-State and Conference honors.  She was named to the 2011 PIAA All-State First Team, 2010 All-State Second Team, was a member of the Citizen's Voice All-Star Team both her junior and senior seasons, and in 2011 was a Citizen's Voice Athlete of the Week as well as a member of the Time Leader All-Star Team.  She was also honored with the 2012 Varsity Gold Award. Stefanides played for the KaPow Indoor Club team and helped them finish as 2012 Champions at the National Indoor Tournament. She also played for the Future's Elite team for two years and was a member of the 2010 Westchester team which finished with a silver medal at the National Future's Championship. Stefanides also had an impressive impact off the field in both the classroom and the community.  She was a member of over five different clubs, the Student Government, the Medical Club, and Wyoming Seminary Media Club.  She made the dean's list all four years and in 2012 organized a fundraiser for Make a Wish. 

Personal: Daughter to Rob and Evie Stefanides… Has one sibling, Alle (15)… Her major is undecided.
