2017: Played in 21 games, starting 19. Scored three goals and added two assists for eight points. Registered 17 shots on goal. 

2016: Appelberg appeared in all 21 games for the Stags in her junior season, earning nine starts. She posted a career high with nine points off a career best four goals and added one assist. 

2015: Appelberg had her best season as a Stag this year. She appeared in all 19 games this season and earned six starts. She was also sixth on the team in points with eight. The sophomore scored three goals and two assists this season.

2014: Appelberg competing in four contests for Fairfield as a forward. She made her collegiate debut against Villanova. Appelberg recorded one shot on goal, against Lehigh, and earned a shot on goal percentage of 1.000.

Before Fairfield: Appelberg spent her scholastic career at Trumbull High School where she earned honors for her play as an attacker. As a junior, Appelberg collected a spot on the Connecticut Post All-Star team after scoring eight goals for Trumbull. She went on to secure All-FCIAC accolades in 2012. She followed up that season with another berth to the All-FCIAC team in 2013. Appelberg also was a member of the women’s lacrosse team at Trumbull High School.

Personal: Daughter of Jackie and Mark Appelberg...has one brother, Stone (16)... Her cousin, Tyler Caserta plays baseball for the Bridgeport Bluefish... Major is Public Relations.
