2017: All-MAAC Second Team. MAAC All-Championship Team. MAAC All-Academic Team. Played in 21 games, starting 20. Scored four goals and added a team leading seven assists for 15 points. Registered 21 shots on goal.
2016: All-MAAC Second Team… MAAC All-Academic Team… In her junior campaign, Gallagher recorded a career-high 14 points off a career-best eight assists, while matching her career-best of three goals. Her eight assists match the seventh most in a single season in Fairfield history.Â
2015:Â Gallagher appeared in all 19 games for Fairfield this season and was a difference maker on both ends of the field. She posted seven points off three goals and one assist. She also added two defensive saves on the year.
2014: America East All-Rookie Team… Gallagher had an impressive rookie campaign for the Stags, competing in 17 of 19 contests, with one start at midfield. She made her collegiate debut against Villanova and had her first collegiate start against Albany. Gallagher recorded one goal, against Delaware, to finish the season with two points. Gallagher tallied seven shots on the year, with four on goal, and earned a shots on goal percentage of .571.
Before Fairfield: Gallagher attended St. John Vianney High School where she was a three-sport athlete for her entire four-year career. She also served as a team captain for the field hockey, basketball, and softball programs during her senior campaign. As field hockey player, she was the team’s top scorer for both goals and assists as a sophomore, junior, and senior. With her help, St. John Vianney won the Parochial Division Championship in 2012 and advanced to the State Sectional semifinals both in 2011 and 2012. Her success also came in other sports, receiving All-State first team and two All-County first team honors as a shortstop. On the basketball court, Gallagher was a member of the All-County third team. She played club hockey with Jersey Intensity and participated in Futures from 2012-14.
Personal: Daughter of Darlene and James Gallagher...Has one brother, Liam (19), who is a member of the University of Scranton wrestling team... Named to the University's Dean's List... Major is Finance.
