Biography

2018: Liam Dougherty picked up minutes in the team's 5-0 win over Canisius, contributing to one of the program's five shutouts in 2018. The goalkeeper was not forced to make a save in his nine minutes on the pitch. Those minutes represented the senior's first collegiate minutes. He picked up his third berth to the MAAC All-Academic team following the year.

2016: MAAC All-Academic Dougherty provided the Stags with another option at the goalkeeper position. He did not see any time in the goal for Fairfield but was a member of the Stags goalkeeping unit.

Before Fairfield: Liam Dougherty joined the Fairfield University soccer program after graduating from Conestoga High School.He spent a lot of time inbetween the posts at Conestoga, making 30 saves and posting a 0.22 goals against average during hsi career. He was nearly perfect as a goalkeeper, winning nine games with eight of those contests ending as clean sheets. He helped Conestoga capture the Central League championship during his stay. In the classroom, Dougherty was earned a spot on the school's academic honor roll.
