2018 Season: Corrine Persichetti was one of five Fairfield student-athletes to reach double figures in scoring during 2018, finishing the year with 10 points. She reached that level with three goals and four assists, a number she secured by scoring in six games. Her final point of the season came when she set up the team’s only goal in a 2-1 setback to Monmouth in the MAAC championship game. Persichetti started the season in the same fashion, securing an assist in a 3-1 win at Lafayette. She was selected to the All-MAAC second team by the conference coaches.


2017: Played in 18 games, starting three. Tallied three assists for three total points. Registered five shots on goal.

2016: Persichetti made 20 appearances for the Stags while making 11 starts this season. She tallied her first career assist on October 21 against Sacred Heart. She finished the season with two points off two assists. 

2015: In her freshman season, Persichetti appeared in all 19 games. She earned three starts this season and played well as part of the back line. The rookie also fired off two shots this season.

Before Fairfield: Persichetti enjoyed a stellar career at Gwynedd Mercy Academy as a field hockey player, serving as the team’s captain in her senior campaign. She was a decorated student-athlete, highlighted by an All-State selection during the 2012 season. She was selected to the Athletic Association of Catholic Academies All-Star Team during the 2013-14 and 2014-15 academic years. Persichetti was a two-time Pennsylvania All-Region player, securing second team honors in 2013 and a first-team berth in 2014. Persichetti played club field hockey with the WC Eagles in Pennsylvania. She was a member of the WC Eagles U-16 team that earned a gold medal at the 2013 National Club Championship. She also secured a bronze medal at the National Futures Championship that same season.
