Dani Brown serves as a volunteer assistant coach with the Fairfield University field hockey program. She returns to alma mater after spending many seasons as a collegiate official as well as garnering time as a referee in the international game. She played her collegiate field hockey under Head Coach Jackie Kane where she finished her career as one of the top scoring players in program history. She ended her four-year run with 35 goals which included nine game-winning goals. Her game winners ranked first in school history upon her graduation and still holds a share of the school record. She earned All-Conference honors and was honored by the NFHCA for her play. Brown also coached softball at Brien McMahon High School before taking over the high school's field hockey program in 2016.
