2017: MAAC All-Academic Team. Played in 17 games, starting four. Registered one shot on goal.
2016: MAAC All-Academic Team… Made 17 appearances for Fairfield while earning 11 starts. Recorded her first career assist at Lafayette on August 26.Â
2015: MAAC All-Academic Team... 2015 ZAG Field Hockey/ NFHCA Div. I National Academic Squad...Miles started 12 games at defense for Fairfield this season. The sophomore started both games in the MAAC Tournament and made an impact on the back line that only allowed one goal in the two games.
2014: America East All-Rookie Team… America East Commissioner’s Honor Roll… Miles earned a spot on the America East All-Rookie Team after a stellar rookie campaign for the Stags. She competed in all 19 contests for Fairfield, with 18 starts, on the defensive line. Miles made her collegiate debut in the season opener against California. Miles recorded one defensive save against Sacred Heart.
Before Fairfield: Miles joins the Stags field hockey team after a successful academic and athletic career at Rumson-Fair Haven High School. A four-year back, Miles was one of the team’s top defensive players throughout her career. She played left back and center back during her time at Rumson-Fairfield Haven, helping the team post 19 wins in her senior season. She was part of a unit that surrendered just 18 goals in 22 games and posted 12 shutouts. She capped her senior season as a member of the All-Shore Field Hockey Team as selected by the Asbury Park Press. Rumson-Fair Haven won four A Central Division championships and two Sectional titles during Miles’ stay. At the club level, Miles played for Jersey Intensity.
Personal:Â Daughter of Ellen and Daniel Miles... Has two siblings, Danny (26) and Maggie (25)... Her uncle, Michael Miles, played lacrosse and football at Middlebury while her aunt, Susan Rothwell swam at the collegiate level... Named to the University's Dean's List... Major is Art History: Visual Arts Administration with a Marketing minor.Â
