2015: 2015 ZAG Field Hockey/ NFHCA Div. I National Academic Squad...Von Schenck played a pivotal role on defense during her rookie season. She made 11 appearances and 10 starts. The rookie had five points off one goal and three assists. Von Schenck was named the MAAC Rookie of the Week one time this season.

Before Fairfield: Ariane von Schenck has played field hockey since making her debut at the age of four for SC Frankfurt 1880. She served as captain of her junior team as well as her team in the Federal State of Hesse.  In Ireland, she played for the junior and senior team of her school King’s Hospital as well as club team Glenanne in the Leinster 1^st division league.   Since 2013, Ariane has played the First Ladies Team for SC Frankfurt which competes in Germany’s 2^nd Bundesliga.  Ariane can contribute in both the midfield and defensive roles.  She has just returned from a six month service trip in Costa Rica.

Personal: Daughter of Kersten and Irmela von Schenck... Siblings: Jakob (23), Hans (20), Nora (17), Eduard (15), and Magnus (13)... Major is Physics with a minor in Psychology.
