Biography

2025 Season: Amanda Dressel earned minutes in 18 games during the 2025 season, all coming as a reserve. She averaged better than 20 minutes per game as a sophomore, including four matches of 35-plus minutes. The forward/midfielder posted three goals during the year, hitting the back of the cage against Merrimack, Stonehill, and New Haven. She placed eight of her 10 shots on goal,  highlighted by three shots that required action from the New Haven goalkeeper.

2024 Season: Dressel  was a member of the Fairfield University field hockey program but did not appear in any games during the 2024 season.

Why Fairfield?: "I chose Fairfield because it felt like home from the moment I stepped on campus. The supportive team atmosphere, strong academics through the Dolan School of Business, and beautiful beachside location made it the perfect place for me to grow as a student-athlete and build lifelong relationships."

Personal: Her parents are Michell and David. She has a brother Ryan. Her major is marketing.
