2025 Season: Alyse Wanchisen became a regular in the lineup from her arrival on campus, gaining entry in 18 of the team’s 26 games which included both NCAA Championship games. She garnered a pair of points in 2025, gaining an assist against New Haven and Vermont. Her pass in the Vermont game setup the game winning goal in a 2-1 road decision. She took eight shots during the season and put three of those attempts on target.

Before Fairfield: Alyse Wanchisen begins her Fairfield career after graduating from Crestwood High School where she helped the program reach the State quarterfinals and semifinal in 2022 and 2023. In 2024, she scored all three goals in a win that captured the District 2 Class 2A title and sent Crestwood into the State tournament. She worked her way into the starting lineup as a sophomore and responded by scoring 16 goals and two assists which tied for the top spot in the team statistics. She played at the club level with Electric Surge in Kingston, Pa. Wanchisen was also a USA Field Hockey participant with the U14 and U16 programs.
