2021: MAAC All-Academic Team…Made seven appearances, pitching to a 4.91 ERA with six strikeouts in 7.1 innings…Worked a scoreless frame against: Canisius (3/21), Iona (4/3), and No. 2 Texas (6/6).

2020: Made five appearances in 2020 tossing six innings…Hurled 1.2 scoreless frames in his season debuts while striking out two against UNC Greensboro (2/22)…Retired both batters he faced against the Spartans (2/23)…Also retired both batters against Ohio State (3/8).

2019: Tossed 10 innings in 12 appearances with a 6.30 ERA…Fired 6.2 consecutive scoring innings that spanned six appearances while allowing just two hits (3/19 – 5/1)…Went 1.2 scoreless frames surrendering one hit at Stony Brook (4/24)…Earned first win of the season with a 1.1 scoreless appearance against Sacred Heart (4/17).

2018: Appeared in nine games for the Stags, supporting a 4.91 ERA in 11.0 innings…Threw a shutout inning in back-to-back outings at North Florida (3/10 – 3/11)…Fired two hitless innings striking out two against Stony Brook (4/26).

2017: Saw action in four games for the Stags while making one start at Bethune-Cookman (3/14)…Hurled two scoreless innings in his collegiate debut against Penn (3/11)…Also threw a scoreless inning at Stony Brook (4/26).

BEFORE FAIRFIELD: One of the highest ranked left handed pitchers in the state of New York, Amone comes to Fairfield after earning All-Suffolk League honors at Patchogue-Medford High School. After a senior season that saw the left hander compile a 1.10 ERA in 52 innings, Amone was ranked the 16th best prospect in Long Island on the 2016 Blue Chip Long Island Top Prospect List and was listed as the 17th best left handed pitcher in the state of New York by PerfectGame.org. A Northeast Region Honorable Mention, Amone helped the Raiders to the playoffs all three seasons while he was on the varsity team.

PERSONAL: Born on November 29, 1997…Parents are Mark and Stefanie Amone…National Honor Society and Business Honor Society member in high school…Has a sister Cecilia…Major is finance.
