2021: MAAC All-Tournament Team…Drafted by the New York Mets in the 16th round…Made five starts with a 2-0 record and a 4.94 ERA…Started the year with 11 strikeouts in 6.0 innings against Canisius before missing two months with injury (3/20)…Saved the Stags from elimination with 6.1 innings of one-run ball and 11 strikeouts in the MAAC Championships against Canisius (5/28).

2020: Made three starts with an 0-2 record and a 4.60 ERA…Did not allow a hit while striking out eight against Stetson (3/7)…Hurled 5.1 scoreless frames in his season debut against UNC Greensboro (2/22).

2019: Collegiate Baseball National Player of the Week (5/27)…MAAC All-Tournament Team…MAAC Pitcher of the Week (3/12)…Had the best performance in Fairfield postseason history as he fired a three-hit shutout against top-seeded Canisius in an elimination game where he walked one and struck out a career-high 14 batters (5/25)…Also went the distance against Monmouth while allowing one run on two hits (one on the infield) with nine strikeouts (4/20)…Picked up his first win of the season with a seven inning performance against Delaware with nine strikeouts (3/9)…Also struck out 11 at Brown (3/17)…Led all Fairfield pitchers and ranked seventh in the MAAC with 82 strikeouts.

2018: Started 10 games for the Stags in his rookie season and held a 5.60 ERA in 45.0 innings…Won his last three decisions with two coming against Sacred Heart (4/18 + 4/24) and NJIT (5/1)…Recorded a 1.71 ERA over his last four starts with a 3-0 record and 17 strikeouts in 21 innings (4/18 – 5/13).

BEFORE FAIRFIELD: Ranked in the state's top-10 for Class of 2018 prospects by Perfect Game USA, McLoughlin is a hard throwing right hander from Shelton. The pitcher provided plenty of memorable performances on the mound including a two-hit complete game performance against Cheshire in 2016, where he struck out 12 batters.
