Before Fairfield
Ryan Zan had a three-year tenure at La Salle, including a redshirt season, at La Salle. He played 50 games, averaging 2.8 points and 1.7 rebounds per game. Zan shot .526 from the field for the Explorers, highlighted by a .400 mark from three-point range, and recorded 16 assists, 10 blocks and 21 assists. He entered the starting lineup for the Atlantic 10 Tournament, posting nine points and five rebounds in the win over UMass followed by season highs of 11 points and seven boards against Saint Joseph's. Zan was a multi-time member of the Atlantic 10 Commissioner's Honor Roll.
 
High School
Prior to entering the collegiate ranks, Zan played at Rutgers Prep, where he averaged 15.0 points and 9.5 rebounds per game as a senior.
