2024: College Sports Communicator (CSC) Academic All-District…MAAC All-Academic Team…Appeared in 45 games and 35 starts during his final season with the Stags…Picked up 25 hits, scored 24 runs, drove in 20 RBI while tallying a .348 on-base percentage…Drove in a pair of runs with a single in the extra inning win over Mount St. Mary’s in the MAAC Championships (5/24)…Had a pair of hits and drove in three runs at Mount (4/20)…Tallied a double, triple, four RBI and scored three runs at Saint Joseph’s (3/5).

2023: MAAC All-Academic Team…Batted a career-best .320 in 50 at-bats with a homer, 10 RBI, and 14 runs scored…Also recorded personal-bests in on-base percentage (.404) and slugging percentage (.460)…Scored the game-winning run on a wild pitch to force a winner-take-all final game in the MAAC Championships (5/27)…Tallied five hits with a homer, triple, and double in the first two games of the series at Marist (5/12 – 5/13)…Picked up multiple hits in all three games of the Iona series while driving in three runs in the opener (5/18 – 5/19)…Drove in a run on a safety squeeze bunt in the MAAC Championship opener against Manhattan (5/25).

2022: MAAC All-Academic Team…Started 19 games in 32 appearances in centerfield after filling in for an injury…Batted .316 with two homers, 20 RBI, while clubbing 25 hits…Had a breakout series against Saint Peter’s while batting .500 (7-for-14), two homers, 12 RBI, and scored five runs (4/22 – 4/24)…Also collected three hits against Monmouth (5/8) and Quinnipiac (5/13)…Drove in a run in all three games in the series against the Bobcats (5/12 – 5/14)…Team leading hitter with runners in scoring position (.433)…Batted a team-high .345 against right-handers.

2021: Appeared in four games during rookie season…Scored a run and drew a bases loaded RBI walk at Saint Peter’s (4/21).

BEFORE FAIRFIELD: Catalano was a two-time All-Section and All-League honoree from Brewster High School after tallying 78 hits in his career. He batted .450 during his junior season and was also named to the All-Putnam/Westchester Dream Team.
