Biography

2023-24: MAAC All-Academic Team…Did not appear in a game after suffering a preseason injury.

2022-23: Appeared in all 30 games while making 11 starts and averaging a career best 25.6 minutes…Led all Stags’ reserves with 7.5 points per game while coming off the bench…Also led all reserves in assists (18), 3-pointers (21), and steals (16)…Poured in 17 points on 5-for-9 shooting at Dayton (12/7)…Notched double figures in four-straight games, beginning with a career-high 19 point outing against Canisius (1/28 – 2/9)…Connected on a pair of 3-pointers in three-straight games while shooting 40 percent (6-for-15) from behind the arc in that stretch (1/26 – 2/2)…Dished out a career-high five assists at Binghamton (12/3)…Swished in three of her six attempts from long-range against Marist (2/23).

2021-22: Appeared in 21 games for the Stags while logging a season-high 10 minutes at Canisius (1/15) and at Saint Peter’s (3/5)…Netted 19 points in her 21 appearances while shooting 54 percent (7-for-13) from the field…Dished out a season-high three assists and went a perfect 2-for-2 from the field in the MAAC Semifinals win over Niagara (3/11)…Tallied two blocks and two steals.

2020-21: Appeared in nine contests during her rookie season, averaging 6.9 minutes…Averaged 23.5 minutes in the two game series against Monmouth, netting 10 of her 12 points in the season (2/20 – 2/21)…Grabbed a career-high five rebounds and dished out a personal best three assists in the opening game against the Hawks (2/20)…Also connected on a 3-pointer and recorded a steal in both games of the Monmouth series.

BEFORE FAIRFIELD: Rubino was a 1,000 point scorer and averaged 16 points with six assists for Morris Catholic. Her career-high performance came against her hometown Pequannock as she recorded 32 points and eight assists. The combo guard notched one double-double on the season when she poured in 21 points and added 10 assists against Hillside. She was an All-County First Team selection and led her squad to the Conference Championship.
