2021: MAAC All-Academic Team…Made seven appearances and 7.2 innings in his graduate season…Did not allow a run in his first three appearances and 3.0 innings…Recorded a strikeout in four-straight appearances (4/14 – 6/6)…Had a perfect inning against Rider (4/9).

2020: Threw eight innings in four appearances…Struck out three against Boston College (2/29) and Bethune-Cookman (3/10).

2019: MAAC All-Academic Team…Appeared in 15 games with seven starts finishing with a 3-2 record and a 3.64 ERA…Had back-to-back scoreless starts against crosstown rivals Sacred Heart combining for 10.2 innings with three hits allowed…Fired 4.2 hitless frames in the home game against the Pioneers (4/17)…Earned the win on the road against the Pioneers with a season-high six innings pitched while surrendering three hits (4/23)…Did not allow a run in both of the MAAC regular season games he appeared in with seven combined innings of one-hit ball…Earned the victory against Quinnipiac with 3.1 scoreless innings of relief (5/10).

2018: MAAC All-Academic Team…Worked his way into the weekend rotation and made 10 starts for the Stags with 14 appearances and a 4.89 ERA…Finished second on the team with 53.1 innings pitched and lasted five or more innings in six-straight starts (3/20 – 4/21)…Earned the victory against regional power St. John’s by allowing one run on two hits in six innings. The win was Fairfield’s first over the Red Storm since 2005 (3/20)…Struck out a career-high nine batters in six innings in the win over Rider (4/7).

2017: Made 16 appearances during his rookie season, pitching to a 2-1 record with a 3.73 ERA…Started his career with five scoreless innings as he did not allow a run in three innings at Lamar (2/25) and two innings at VCU (3/3)…Pitched three scoreless innings against Hartford (4/2).

BEFORE FAIRFIELD: Arnold had an historic senior season at Ocean City High School where he helped lead an impressive Raiders’ pitching staff to a Sectional Title and an appearance in the NJSIAA Group 3 State Final. As a senior, Arnold finished with a 6-3 record and a 2.47 ERA with 98 strikeouts, including posting a 3-0 record in the state tournament. Arnold was voted his team’s Most Dedicated Player in 2015 and 2016 while also being named to the All-CAL First Team in 2016. Arnold’s career game came on May 11 when he threw a complete game one-hit shutout against St. Augustine Prep, surrendering his only hit with two outs in the final inning, coming as a slow-rolling single to the shortstop. Arnold struck out 13 batters in that game. The Northeast Region Honorable Mention was also ranked the 11th best right handed pitcher from New Jersey on PerfectGame.org. As a hitter, Arnold was a career .311 hitter with five home runs and 50 RBI.

PERSONAL: Born on August 26, 1997…Parents are Terence and Cynthia…National Honor Society all four years at Ocean City High School…Major is finance.
