Biography

2024: Had four appearances with four innings pitched and a 4.50 ERA…Threw three scoreless outings…Struck out a pair in one inning against UMass (4/10).

2023: Did not allow an earned run in six of his eight appearances on the season…Fired 3.0 consecutive scoreless frames spanning three appearances allowing just one hit over that stretch (4/11 – 5/18)…Got the start in the winner-take-all game in the MAAC Championships against Rider (5/27).

2022: Made 18 appearances in his rookie season with the Stags, spanning 21.2 innings while striking out 22…Threw four-straight hitless innings with a pair of strikeouts in 4.1 frames (5/3 – 5/20)…Struck out three in 2.1 hitless innings against Bradley (3/15)…Recorded a pair of strikeouts in a perfect inning at FGCU (3/11).

BEFORE FAIRFIELD: Tolis was a three-year varsity pitcher for Avon Old Farms, finishing second on the team with four wins in 2018. He recorded a sub-200 ERA and a 0.9 WHIP. Tolis will be enrolling as an electrical engineering major at Fairfield.
