2015: Broke the Fairfield program record for career appearances, graduating with 75 outings, the only Stag to have toed the rubber more than 70 times in a career…Led the team with a 1.40 ERA in his 18 appearances, picking up the save against Fordham…Did not allow a run in his first 5.1 innings pitched of the 2015 season…Allowed only four extra base hits in the 25.2 innings he pitched…Did not walk a batter in his first 17 innings of the season…Picked up the win in the extra inning victory at Hartford (3/25), picking up a season-high tying three strikeouts…Also had three strikeouts in his final collegiate appearance against Siena (5/15)…Hitters batted .195 against Gallagher, the second lowest on the team.
Summer League: Pitched for the Sanford Mainers of the NECBL during Summer 2013.
2014: Made 22 appearances, the second most in program history … Went 2-1 with three saves and two combined shutouts … Had a 1.62 ERA with 15 strikeouts and just three walks in 22.0 innings … Picked up the win in MAAC Championship versus Siena, going 3.0 innings and striking out three batters … Combined for the shutout against Sacred Heart, striking out two batters in an inning of relief … Combined for the shutout at Siena, getting the final out of the game for third save of the year … Saved both games of a doubleheader at NYIT … After allowing a run at Yale, did not allow another opponent to score over the next five appearances … Picked up the win at Northeastern after tossing an inning of relief … Did not allow a run in first eight relief appearances of the season.
2013: Made 17 appearances with a start ... Posted a 5.88 ERA with an 0-3 record ... Struck out 16 batters in 26.0 innings of work ... Made season debut against Longwood ... Struck out two batters in appearances against Quinnipiac, NJIT, St. Peter's, Yale, and Marist ... Made first collegiate start at UConn, going 3.1 innings.
2012: Made 18 appearances in first season as a Stag ... Posted a 1.99 ERA with a 1-1 record and a save in 22.2 innings ... Got the win in first collegiate appearance, tossing 1.2 innings of relief against Youngstown State ... Allowed just one run in 11 appearances between March 3 and April 7, throwing a combined 12.0 innings of relief ... Picked up first collegiate save at Saint Peter's after throwing a perfect inning of relief ... Did not allow a run in final four appearances of the season.
High School: Helped team to 2009 and 2011 championships... Selected as an All-League player his senior season... Earned four saves and a 2-0 record his final year with a batting average of .350... A four year letterman... A member of the National Honor Society and History Club.
