SOUTH KENT, Conn. – Alex Taylor carded a two-day 149 to lead the Fairfield University men’s golf team at the Hartford Hawks Invitational. Taylor and Kevin Duncan both finished in the top half of the 107-golfer field at Bull’s Bridge Country Club in South Kent.

Taylor paced the Stags on the back of an opening-round 71. He shared the low round for a Fairfield player with Conner Beakey, who fired a 71 today to round out his 153. Duncan added a 150 with two rounds of 75 on the par-72 course. Eric Austin added a 154, and Alex Ferrante turned in a 156.
