HONOLULU, HAWAII - Aloha from the Fairfield swimming and diving team! Today we spent our fifth day in Hawaii and had a lot to look forward to. After the past two nights with workouts pushing 7,000 yards we were ready to have some fun. There was only one practice today, and after a morning dry land & swim we got to head up to the north shore. The swimmers and divers came together for an hour long van ride to a beautiful reefy area with huge waves crashing over the rocks. There was a lot to do at this beach, people tanned, snorkeled, surfed, and climbed up into the tidal pools to watch the waves.
Tonight we got to venture into Waikiki for dinner and hung out with our class. Today was a great day overall for the Stags, but we still have a lot of training ahead of us!
