MILFORD, Conn. – The Fairfield University women’s golf team played a one-day tri-match at the Great River Golf Club in Milford on Sunday afternoon. Danielle Dalessandro paced the Stags with an 85 on the par-72 course.
Dalessandro was followed by Emma Ritzmann and Michelle Applegate, who both carded an 87. Olivia Brooks added a 91 to complete the Stags’ 350 on the day.
Led by medalist Kelsey Hayward, host Sacred Heart shot a 319 to win the tri-match. MAAC foe Siena posted a 341 on the day.
Today’s action was the Stags’ final competition prior to the 2015 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Championship slated for April 24-26 at Disney’s Magnolia Golf Course in Lake Buena Vista, Fla.
