FAIRFIELD, Conn. – The Fairfield University men’s basketball team will host a Red/White Scrimmage on Sunday, Oct. 25 at noon at Alumni Hall, as announced by Head Coach Sydney Johnson.
Fans are invited to watch the Stags compete in an intra-squad scrimmage followed by an opportunity to meet the student-athletes both individually and as a part of a question-and-answer session.
Student-athletes will also be signing autographs for children in attendance, and Lucas the Stag will be on-hand for the event. Light refreshments will be served. Schedule posters and schedule cards for the 2015-16 season will also be available.
The Red/White Scrimmage is the first of several Fairfield men’s basketball events to be held at Alumni Hall throughout the 2015-16 campaign. The Stags are set to play three regular-season contests at their on-campus home this season – Nov. 27 vs. Columbia, Jan. 4 vs. Dartmouth and Jan. 19 vs. Saint Peter’s – along with an exhibition game on Nov. 6 vs. Bridgeport,
In addition, the Stags’ women’s basketball team will play 13 of its 16 home games at Alumni Hall this season.
