BUFFALO, N.Y. – The Fairfield University men's and women's swimming and diving teams had 24 student-athletes named to the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) All-Academic Team. The women's team had 17 selections, the most of any other MAAC program, while the men's team tallied seven.
On the women's side, sophomores Gabrielle Angresano, Liz Avery, Kelly Mulligan, Danielle Latino, Michelle Pleban, and Callie Vacchiano and senior captain Emily Pedrick each earned the honor for the first time. Juniors Alyssa Acompora, Lauren Kemple, Katherine Kraus, Meredith LaBerge, Lisa Tkach, Ashlee Steinberger, and Meghan Weiser earned their second-straight accolade. Seniors Suzy Lawlor, Margaret Osmulski, and Megan Kuzniewski earned the honor for the third consecutive year.

Jay Cook received their first MAAC All-Academic selections. Juniors

Kevin Kett were named to the list for the second consecutive year while seniors
Kevin Greener and
Kyle Rozanitis earned their third-straight accolade.
Fairfield begins action at the 2014 MAAC Swimming & Diving Championships on Thursday at the Burt Flickinger Center in Buffalo, N.Y. The MAAC will be streaming the event live on
